TITLE: Dental Office Specialist



DUTIES: Greet patients. Answer phones, schedule and confirm patient appointments. Manage files and records, including ensuring all dental records and information are up to date and ready for the dentist. Responsible for product inventory, budgeting and placing orders for necessary dental supplies. Set-up and break-down of dental equipment and instruments and maintain dental equipment on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Clean instruments, rooms, and other working stations by utilizing proper sterilization methods and utensils. Organize and schedule pick-up and drop-off of office dental appliances. Provide administrative support to our growing dental practice by directing such activities such as budget planning and control, personnel administration, communications and workflow procedures. Identify, coordinate, and implement projects/programs to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of operations and service. Word, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge required.


REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:FOUR (4) years in the job offered, OR at least FOUR (4) years of job experience managing a dental practice.
